CEO
Katie
Katie is our CEO who has over 20 wonderful year’s experience in Financial Servies, Charity Not for Profits and the fabulous Credit Union Mutual Sector. Also, she is a qualified Chartered Accountant who lives and breathes our values.
Lending & Member Services Team
Member services & Loans Team – supporting our members every step of the way.
This team helps people access the services they need, from friendly advice to fair and flexible loans.
Keir
Keir leads our Loans & Members Team, managing loan and member services operations across the business. Keir has 10+ years underwriting experience across Personal Loans and Mortgages and delivering a high level of service.
Gary
Gary, Senior Lending & member services officer Interesting Fact…….. Princess Anne visited Roberts Park in Saltaire when I was a baby, and held me in her arms!
Bryony
Bryony started working at BDCU over 9 years ago, in that time she has worked within the Member Services and Finance Teams. Bryony now brings her wealth of experience into the Lending Team within her current position as Loans Officer.
Meya
Meya, works in member services at BDCU, I have previous experience in customer service roles and enjoy helping customers.
Community Development Team:
Community Development Team: connecting people, stories and opportunities.
We work with local business, partners, media and community to build stronger, more inclusive communities.
Ian
Ian leads our Marketing and Community Development team, managing funded projects that tackle poverty and financial exclusion and payroll partners.
Janka
Janka works closely with communities, payroll partners and the marketing team to deliver impactful initiatives. She focuses on building strong relationships and ensuring smooth communication, helping to drive engagement and raise BDCU’s profile both internally and externally.
Finance Team:
Finance Team: keeping us sustainable and accountable, making sure resources are well-managed so we can keep delivering impact where it matters most.
Caroline
Caroline leads our Finance and Collections Team with over 30 years of Finance experience. Caroline also has over 25 years of experience working in Payroll & Personnel so has ownership of all thing’s “people” at BDCU.
Lauren
Lauren is our Senior Finance Officer with five years of experience across member services, lending, credit control, and finance operations, Lauren supports the organisation’s financial health by overseeing key finance processes, working closely with the senior team, and supporting the Finance Assistants in delivering day-to-day operations. She helps balance operational needs with financial priorities, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the business.
Zayna
Zayna: Brings valuable experience from a background in member services having developed strong interpersonal and administrative skills as an apprentice and has since transitioned into a finance-focused role where responsibilities now include managing payroll, processing payments and handling invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
Ariba
Ariba is our Finance and Credit Control Apprentice gaining hands-on experience in managing accounts, invoices, and customer payments.
Project & Innovations Team
Gillian
As our Projects & Innovations Lead, Gillian blends strategic insight with handson leadership across project, programme, and change management. With a proven background in ethical finance within PRA/FCAregulated organisations in the credit union/mutuals sector, she is dedicated to improving credit union functions through innovation and effective project delivery.
Siobhan
Siobhan has a strong background in change and project management across various NHS organisations. She has spent the last 3 years at BDCU, managing Community, Payroll and Business Development. Recently, she transitioned to the Projects & Innovations Team, as Senior Project Officer where she supports the delivery of new initiatives, projects and transformative changes

BDCU is proud to be the first credit union partner in FoodSavers, an innovative initiative by Inn Churches tackling food insecurity across Bradford. For just £6 a week typically, members access high quality surplus food and can save £1 in their credit union account every time they shop. Together, we’re building financial resilience and reducing food waste across West Yorkshire.
CUTV (Credit Union TV)
Broadcasting community voices and financial empowerment.
CUTV works with us to create engaging media that highlights the work of credit unions, shares member stories, and promotes financial inclusion through accessible digital content.
