BDCU in the Spotlight: Partnering with Credit Union TV to Showcase Community Impact
At BDCU, we’re proud to be part of a movement that puts people first. Our commitment to supporting local communities, promoting financial wellbeing and tackling food inequality is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we were excited to collaborate with Credit Union TV (CUTV), a media and marketing platform dedicated to promoting the work of credit unions and community-focused organisations across the UK.
CUTV exists to amplify the voices of credit unions, cooperatives and social enterprises, helping them share their stories and reach wider audiences. Through engaging video content and storytelling, CUTV highlights the positive impact these organisations have on individuals and communities, often shining a light on work that goes unseen.
As part of this collaboration, CUTV’s Liam Boyle visited BDCU to learn more about our mission and the growing success of the FoodSavers Network. His visit was more than just a filming session, it was a deep dive into the values, people and partnerships that drive our work forward. Liam spent time with our teams, spoke with community members and even mentored one of our apprentices, offering hands-on training in media production and storytelling. It was a fantastic opportunity for our apprentice to gain real-world experience and develop new skills in a creative and supportive environment.
The result is a powerful and inspiring video that captures the essence of BDCU’s work. It showcases how the FoodSavers Network is helping families access affordable food, build financial resilience and connect with support systems that truly make a difference. The video also highlights the dedication of our staff and volunteers, whose efforts are transforming lives across Bradford and surrounding areas.
We’re incredibly proud of this feature and grateful to CUTV for helping us share our story. By working together, we’re not only raising awareness of the challenges our communities face, but we’re also showing what’s possible when organisations come together with a shared purpose.
We invite everyone – whether you’re a local resident, a fellow organisation or someone passionate about community development – to watch the video, learn more about our work and get involved. There’s a place for you in the BDCU journey, and we’d love to have you with us: 🎥 Proud moment for all of us at BDCU . We’ve been part of the FoodSa… | food advertising | TikTok
