MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK MONEY TIP

Mental Health Awareness Week – Money Tip

At BDCU, we care about your mental health and well-being. We know financial stress and the current cost of living can be tough, so we offer savings and loan options with low interest rates to help you manage your money and host a dedicated financial education page on our website to help you understand your finances better. We also regularly host ‘Money SOS’ courses, which can help improve your mental health by reducing your financial worries.

We also partner with The Cellar Trust, which provides mental health support and guidance in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven, offering therapies, peer support and workshops to help manage stress and emotional distress.  It also has an Employment Services Team that helps clients get back into employment and provides personalised support to help them live positively and independently.

The Cellar Trust also offers guidance to help people manage their finances, working closely with its partners to ensure they get the right support at the right time.

To date, the Trust has supported nearly 12,000 people and delivered over 34,000 support sessions, improving the mental health of 90% of individuals they help.
