Expecting a payroll deduction into your account?
Before applying your payroll deduction we must receive information from your employer, if this is not received in time this can cause delays for the funds to be applied to your account.
We will actively communicate with your employer if this has happened.
Why has my request for my payroll amendment not happened?
We provide your employer with regular updates on any changes, it will be dependent on when we send the information and when your employers payroll cut of is to when the change will occur. This can take up to 2 pay period to be amended.
What happens if I leave my employer?
If you leave your current employer, you should check whether your new employer is part of the BDCU Payroll Scheme.
- ✅ If they are, you can simply join the scheme through your new company by contacting HR.
- ✅Please also inform BDCU that you have changed company by emailing credit.union@bdcu.co.uk with your member number.
- ❌If they are not, you can switch to making payments via standing order. To do this, email credit.union@bdcu.co.uk with your member number, stating that you’ve left your employer and would like to set up a standing order with your bank.
What happens if school moves to a new trust
If your school moves to a new trust, A: If you leave your current employer, you should check whether your new employer is part of the BDCU Payroll Scheme.
- ✅ If they are, you can simply join the scheme through your new company by contacting HR.
- ✅Please also inform BDCU that you have changed company by emailing credit.union@bdcu.co.uk with your member number.
