Spotlight: York University Research Launch
We’re proud to unveil groundbreaking new research in partnership with the University of York, developed alongside anti-poverty and public health networks in Bradford and Kirklees.
This research shows how credit unions like BDCU play a vital role in improving public health, boosting local economies, and building community resilience. Our work is featured as a unique case study, and we’ve co-created a ‘zine to share these insights in a fun, accessible format.

Monday 3rd November: Payroll Relaunch
We’re relaunching our payroll partnership with Bradford Council and Bradford Children and Families Trust — making it easier for staff to save and borrow responsibly. This initiative puts financial wellbeing at the heart of Bradford’s public sector workforce.
Tuesday 4th November: On Campus, In Conversation
We’ll be out and about at two key locations:
- University of Bradford (9am–3pm)
Join us at the Staff Reward & Benefits Roadshow alongside FoodSavers and Stop Gambling NECA. We’ll be focusing on financial resilience and harm prevention — with practical tips and support. - Bradford College (12pm–2pm)
