Working in Bradford City Hall

One of Yorkshire’s architectural highlights is the City Hall in Bradford. Completed in 1873 and designed by Lockwood and Mawson, this Gothic Revival building stands as a testament to the city’s rich history. The clock tower, inspired by the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, adds to its grandeur, making it one of Yorkshire’s most important historical landmarks.

The Credit Union is based in City Hall and we are grateful to  work in the historic City Hall Building, a beautiful workspace that immerses us in the heart of Yorkshire’s civic life and heritage.

As we celebrate Yorkshire Day, let’s embrace the heritage and spirit that make this county extraordinary. From the privilege of working in the iconic Bradford City Hall to reflecting on Yorkshire’s historic milestones, there are countless ways to connect with Yorkshire’s past and present.

Happy Yorkshire Day to all!
