YOUR COMMUNITY

BDCU is committed to supporting our community and promoting the financial wellbeing of anyone living or working in our common bond.

We run a number of financial inclusion projects including ‘Money SOS’ workshops, Money Tips, FoodSavers and UniformSavers, all of which have a real and positive impact on people’s lives.

For more information about our community events, keep an eye on our LinkedIn account!

We believe in community-led, co-designed development projects that help tackle poverty through financial education, provide access to savings accounts and enable safe borrowing.

Our ‘Money SOS – Train the Trainer’ workshops take you on a journey down ‘Jargon Buster Walk’ where you can learn about APR, payday loans, loan sharks, contactless payments, overdrafts, credit scores, credit unions and more!
