Bradford District Credit Union is committed to supporting our members by helping them to tackle the Cost of Living Crisis. Because of this, Our cooperative has introduced money tips and will be presenting an International Webinar on the subject.
What is the Cost of Living Crisis?
It is the term used to describe the decline in disposable incomes. This means the income, you have after tax and benefits and adjusted inflation. Because of this, it started to affect the UK towards the end of 2021. The predominant rise of inflation has forced not just energy prices to increase, but also rent, food, taxes, and petrol prices to rise. Whereas, causing wages to stagnate.
What is Credit Union doing to help?
Bradford District Credit Union and Bradford Council Public Health are calling all VCS, Community Practitioners, Council and Credit Union Staff, and Anyone interested in the ‘Tackling the Cost of Living Crisis’ Webinar for ‘International Credit Union Day 2022’.
We will hold the Webinar on 19th October 2022 from 3.00pm to 5.00pm (UK Time) on Zoom.
