Bin Collectors Join Credit Union

Bradford District Credit Union (BDCU) celebrates passing 9,000 members at Bradford Council Waste Services.

Our Financial Inclusion Officer Ian was out with our hard working bin men and women at Bradford Council Waste Services, helping them start saving habit with the credit union.

We have helped over 4,000 staff get onto the savings habit and access low cost loans through our Payroll Partnership Scheme that helps staff ‘Work Not Worry’ – and with over 9,000 people helped, we have a lot to smile about.

BDCU has grown from 3,000 members six years ago and we thank all our members, payroll partners and stakeholders for helping us help 9,000 members. As the ‘Cost of Living Crisis’ intensifies, we will continue working with partners to help people from all walks of life to ‘Save and Borrow’ with their local Credit Union.
