Highlights of the Week:
The week kicked off at the Bradford Royal Infirmary, where NHS staff and partners participated in the ‘Money SOS’ workshop. A subsequent invitation to the BBC Radio Leeds studio provided us with an opportunity for an extended interview on the week, as well as insights into BDCU’s growth and projects. The event culminated in a Staff Rewards gathering for Bradford University Staff, where a live presentation was delivered, and partners came together for an impactful in-person event.

Media Presence:
We were fortunate to have media coverage from Radio Leeds, BCB Community Radio, and a planned meeting with Look North. Additionally, the week gained recognition as one of the CU’s biggest events, as acknowledged by ABCUL to all credit unions.

These sessions covered topics ranging from pensions, money help, mental health, and awareness about loan sharks, while also promoting our savings and loans. Around 350 staff members either attended in person or booked onto a webinar, marking a successful effort in re-energising relationships.
