Financial Wellbeing Week at Bradford Council and Children’s Trust

Financial Wellbeing Week at Bradford Council and Children’s Trust has wrapped up, and it was a resounding success! This event was designed to promote financial literacy and wellbeing among staff, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable. Over 3,000 staff are saving with Bradford District Credit Union! Here’s a look back at the highlights of the week.

Pension and Saving Webinar

One of the key features of Financial Wellbeing Week was the Pension and Savings Webinar. We had 55 staff members book their spots to learn valuable insights into planning for the future and making the most of their savings. The webinar provided practical tips and strategies for financial management, helping attendees to secure their financial futures.

For those who missed the live session, you can still access the webinar here: Pension and Savings Webinar.

Informative Financial Wellbeing Packs

We were thrilled to send out 400 financial wellbeing packs to non-digital staff members. These packs were filled with resources and information designed to help individuals manage their finances more effectively. With information from Public Health, Living Well, Credit Union, Pension AVC’s and the new VivUp staff rewards, these packs provided a comprehensive guide to financial wellbeing.

Roadshows: Meeting Staff

Our team hit the road with three exciting roadshows across council and children’s trust sites. These events were fantastic opportunities to meet hundreds of staff members face-to-face, discuss their financial concerns, and introduce them to the benefits of joining Bradford District Credit Union (BDCU). We were delighted to see many new members join us during these roadshows, further expanding our supportive community.

Launch of the Staff Financial Inclusion Portal

In line with our commitment to promoting financial literacy, we are excited to announce the launch of our new financial inclusion portal. This portal is a valuable resource for all our members, offering tools and information to help you achieve financial stability and inclusion. Visit the portal here: Financial Inclusion Portal.
